APC Food Hub is partnering with the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund to provide eligible families with gift boxes for kids ages 0-12 years old. <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
RSVP to register for a maximum of 5 gift boxes per family (if supplies permit)<\/strong>. <\/b><\/span>An email confirming your RSVP will be sent to your inbox, so PLEASE ENSURE<\/span> your email address is correct and your inbox is not full. <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Registration does not guarantee receipt of gift box(es). We will confirm once Toronto Star approves our request.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

GUIDELINES:<\/strong> <\/span><\/div>\n

  • Financial Need:<\/b>\u00a0Families must be financially vulnerable<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Residency:<\/strong> Must reside in Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto (south of Steeles), Scarborough, Etobicoke, Ajax, Pickering, Oshawa, and Whitby.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Children’s Age:<\/b>\u00a0Gift boxes are for children between the ages of 0-12 years old.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Ontario Works\/ODSP Recipients: <\/span><\/strong>If you have received, signed and returned a “pink letter” to ODSP\/OW, please do not sign-up through our Food Hub.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What’s in a Gift Box:<\/b> Boxes are gender-neutral and age-specific. Each contains a hoodie, mitts, a hat, socks, a toy, a book, a treat, and dental hygiene products. (The infant box contains infant-specific items). You can select a different age group for a child to ensure their clothing fits properly. However, please note that the toy and book will also be for the age group you select.<\/u><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Annual Registration:<\/b>\u00a0All families must re-register each year to confirm they are financially vulnerable.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Data Privacy:<\/b>\u00a0Family information is confidential. It is only shared with our suppliers and volunteers for the sole purpose of packing and distributing the boxes and is deleted annually.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
