Description
APC Food Hub is partnering with the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund to provide eligible families with gift boxes for kids ages 0-12 years old.
RSVP to register for a maximum of 5 gift boxes per family (if supplies permit). An email confirming your RSVP will be sent to your inbox, so PLEASE ENSURE your email address is correct and your inbox is not full.
Registration does not guarantee receipt of gift box(es). We will confirm once Toronto Star approves our request.
GUIDELINES:
- Financial Need: Families must be financially vulnerable
- Residency: Must reside in Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto (south of Steeles), Scarborough, Etobicoke, Ajax, Pickering, Oshawa, and Whitby.
- Children’s Age: Gift boxes are for children between the ages of 0-12 years old.
- Ontario Works/ODSP Recipients: If you have received, signed and returned a “pink letter” to ODSP/OW, please do not sign-up through our Food Hub.
- What’s in a Gift Box: Boxes are gender-neutral and age-specific. Each contains a hoodie, mitts, a hat, socks, a toy, a book, a treat, and dental hygiene products. (The infant box contains infant-specific items). You can select a different age group for a child to ensure their clothing fits properly. However, please note that the toy and book will also be for the age group you select.
- Annual Registration: All families must re-register each year to confirm they are financially vulnerable.
- Data Privacy: Family information is confidential. It is only shared with our suppliers and volunteers for the sole purpose of packing and distributing the boxes and is deleted annually.
If you are unable to register before the system closes we will be unable to provide you with gift boxes. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.
How APC FoodHub Works?
01. Register and create an account
Register a new account to our platform and complete your profile with all the necessary details.
02. Submit your answer to an event
Submit your RSVP to an event that suits your needs. We will notify you when and how you can pick up your food bag.
03. Collect your groceries
After you get our notification, you will be able to pick up your groceries from the location of the event. More information needed?
